Terms of Use
Last updated: 2 September 2026
1. About these terms
These Terms of Use apply when you access or use the SoccerChoice website or submit an enquiry through SoccerChoice.
SoccerChoice is operated by Civic Service Partners, ABN 53 545 406 106.
By using the website or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these Terms of Use.
2. What SoccerChoice does
SoccerChoice helps parents and carers identify soccer training providers that may suit factors such as:
- location
- child’s age range
- general playing level
- type of training sought.
SoccerChoice is a matching and referral service.
We do not operate the soccer academies, clubs or coaching programs to which we may refer parents.
3. The service is for parents and carers
The SoccerChoice enquiry service is intended for adults seeking training for a child in their care.
Children should not submit enquiries themselves.
You are responsible for ensuring that information submitted through SoccerChoice is reasonably accurate and that you have authority to provide the relevant information.
4. No guarantee of a match
Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee that:
- a suitable provider will be identified
- a provider will have capacity
- a provider will respond
- a provider will accept a participant
- particular training will be available at a particular time or location
- a particular provider will ultimately meet your needs.
Where appropriate, SoccerChoice may retain an enquiry while we investigate options or improve coverage in an area.
5. How matching works
SoccerChoice may use location, age range, playing level, requested training type, provider information and other relevant factors to identify potential matches.
Some matching steps may be automated and others may involve manual review.
Distance estimates and location matching are approximations and should not be treated as exact travel-time or route calculations.
Parents should independently confirm a provider’s venue, schedule, availability, program details and suitability before enrolling.
6. Information about providers
We seek to use provider information that we reasonably believe is relevant and useful.
However, provider programs, locations, coaching staff, availability, pricing and other details can change.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, SoccerChoice does not guarantee that provider information is complete, current or error-free.
If you identify information that appears incorrect, contact contact@soccerchoice.com.au.
7. Providers are independent
Providers referred through SoccerChoice are independent organisations.
SoccerChoice does not employ their coaches, operate their programs or control how they provide coaching.
If you choose to engage a provider, any agreement to purchase or participate in training is between you and the provider.
The provider is responsible for matters including its own:
- coaching services
- staff and contractors
- qualifications and screening requirements
- child-safety practices
- venues
- program delivery
- pricing
- refunds
- insurance
- enrolment terms
- cancellations
- privacy practices.
Parents remain responsible for assessing whether a particular provider or program is appropriate for their child.
8. Child safety
SoccerChoice does not ask for a child’s name, exact date of birth, school, photograph or medical information through its standard matching enquiry.
A SoccerChoice referral should not be treated as a child-safety accreditation, background check or endorsement of a provider.
Before enrolling a child, parents should make the enquiries they consider appropriate regarding matters such as coaching qualifications, Working With Children Check requirements, supervision, safeguarding policies, facilities and insurance.
9. Fees and commercial relationships
SoccerChoice is free for parents submitting enquiries.
Participating providers may pay SoccerChoice to receive enquiries or participate in the service.
A commercial relationship with a provider does not create a guarantee that the provider will be suitable for an individual child.
We aim to match enquiries based on relevant factors rather than simply sending every enquiry to every participating provider.
10. No endorsement or ranking guarantee
Being listed, considered or referred by SoccerChoice does not constitute a guarantee, certification or professional endorsement of a provider.
Terms such as “suitable”, “match” or similar language on SoccerChoice refer to the provider appearing to meet relevant matching criteria based on the information available to us.
They do not mean SoccerChoice guarantees the provider’s quality, safety or suitability in every respect.
11. Your responsibilities
When using SoccerChoice, you agree not to:
- provide false or deliberately misleading information
- impersonate another person
- submit another person’s contact details without authority
- attempt to interfere with or circumvent website security
- scrape, harvest or systematically extract information from the service
- use the website for unlawful purposes
- submit spam or automated enquiries.
We may restrict access or disregard enquiries where we reasonably believe the service is being misused.
12. Intellectual property
The SoccerChoice name, branding, website design, original text, software and other material created for SoccerChoice are owned by or licensed to Civic Service Partners unless otherwise stated.
You may use the website for ordinary personal purposes.
You must not reproduce, commercially exploit or systematically extract SoccerChoice content without permission, except where permitted by law.
13. Third-party websites
SoccerChoice may link to provider or third-party websites.
We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.
Following a third-party link is at your discretion.
14. Availability of SoccerChoice
We aim to keep SoccerChoice available and functioning appropriately, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
We may change, suspend or discontinue parts of the service where reasonably necessary.
15. Liability and Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, SoccerChoice is not responsible for the independent acts or omissions of soccer training providers, or for losses arising solely from a provider’s delivery of its separate coaching services.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability where doing so would be unlawful.
16. Privacy
Personal information is handled as described in the SoccerChoice Privacy Policy.
By submitting an enquiry, you acknowledge the collection and use of information described there and any specific collection notice presented with the enquiry form.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms where reasonably necessary, including because the SoccerChoice service, commercial model or applicable law changes.
The current version and last-updated date will be published on the website.
18. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Australia.
Nothing in this clause limits any mandatory rights or protections available to you under applicable law.
